All Ministers of Word and Sacrament and Certified Christian Educators that serve a church for six consecutive years are entitled to sabbatical leave. The COM Task Force on the Care of Pastors and Retirees, Members at Large/Validated Oversight and Certified Christian Educator Oversight provides oversight for Sabbatical approval.
